To Insure or Not
Many of you are aware that my mother suffered a stroke while on our trip to Portugal and Spain in 2015 so I've had an up-close and personal look at health care while on the road.
I encourage everyone to consider whether or not travel insurance is a good fit for you, and to do so now, as you are making your deposit for the trip. Coverage varies by insurer and by policy, and many have reduced coverage the longer you wait to purchase.
Here are a few articles to get you started on your research:
From the New York Times Frugal Traveler column
From the Today Show's Peter Greenberg
From the Huffington Post

This article and video from the New York Times a few years ago might give you some ideas for souvenirs. You can read the article here.

Welcome To Bavaria!
![]() |
| Neuschwanstein Castle |
This year we'll travel to Bavaria, based for a week in Munich. We'll depart from Newark Liberty International Airport on Saturday, October 21, 2017 and return on Sunday, October 29th.
Our trips are open to all but are strictly limited to no more than 40 travelers. We have found that this is an ideal number, not so big that you feel like you're part of a herd but not so small that you feel like you're seeing the same faces all the time.
We strive to provide a highly customized yet affordable travel experience. Fellowship is important to us so if you're looking to travel incognito we're probably not the group for you.
Most, but not all, of our travelers in past years live in Northern New Jersey. Each year we get together at least a couple of times before the trip so we can get to know each other and break the ice before we meet up at the airport.
We'd be happy to provide more information about Christ Church Travel and this year's trip if you are interested. Please e-mail us at christchurchtravel@gmail.com or call us at 201.652.2350.
